Groene calabrese is vigorous high yielding, strong and erect plant.  This variety loves warmth and a nutritious and moist soil. In order to obtain a good growth of the shoots, you should give sufficient manure/compost. Normally harvest takes place just before the yellow flowers become visible, but a little later is possible as well.
