A premix is a product containing sources of vitamins and (or) trace minerals. The total nutritional needs of pigs can be met by combining premixes with grain, salt and sources of amino acids, calcium and phosphorus. Typical inclusion rates are 1.5 to 7.5 ib/ton. This would improve the growth rate of piglets and also improve on the health of animals as this helps in converting feeds.
