Fastac100 EC is a highly active broad-spectrum insecticide which controls cottony cushion scale and leaf miner in coffee, bean flower thrips in French beans and caterpillars in roses and carnations at relatively low application rates.

Active Ingredient: Alphacypermethrin 100g/ltr.

Dosage: Coffee- Coffee Leaf Miner: - 80 ml in 600 – 1000ltrs of water/hectare (or 3 ml in 20ltrs of water for small scale use to cover 25 coffee bushes), French beans – Bean flower thrips: - 120 ml in 600ltrs of water/ha (or 5 ml/20ltrs of water for small scale use)

Mode of action:

Alphacypermethrin, the active ingredient in Fastac 100 EC is a non-systemic insecticide that acts on adults, larvae and has significant ovicidal and repellent effect. It has a very good Knockdown effect and persistence of action. Alphacypermethrin sustains succession of the nerve impulses which leads to over stimulation, exhaustion and death of the insect.

WHO Class II: Moderately Hazardous.

Pre-Harvest-Interval: French beans: 7 days, Coffee: 3 days

Re-Entry Interval: 48 hours, unless wearing protective clothing.
